Middle Carry Hanger – US Style

The Middle Carry Strap (or Hanger) sits over the horse’s back. Depending on the configuration being used, it buckles to the uptugs on the rear of the foreleg hopples, or to the front uptugs of the rear hopples (or both).

This model is more popular in Canada and the USA it is slightly longer than the Australian Style Middle Carry Strap and loops together at the centre in a different way. The Crupper backstrap may be fed through the centre loop to hold the carry strap in place.
